You never know what can be lurking in the cemeteries you casually drive by. Such was the case in the Fall of 1993, when Linda McLaughlin and her innocent six-year-old daughter Kelly passed by Easton Connecticut's Union Cemetery. Kelly didn’t even know such spirits existed when an apparition materialized and tapped into her consciousness. Nothing could have prepared her or her family for the suffocating terror that they would soon experience when it followed them home.
The merciless spirit didn't stop with Kelly. It quickly targeted each and every family member, their pets, and their friends when they were alone and most vulnerable. Then, it targeted the alpha of the family, the wealthy, real estate broker father, who was a natural skeptic and the last person to believe in ghosts.
In this re-creation of real the most terrifying case the author had ever experienced, a Connecticut Family is plagued by an evil-natured human spirit and by a group of inhuman, diabolical spirits who infest their home and oppress the family. Will these evil spirits continue to haunt them or will the family find help in ridding them of this terror from beyond the grave?
The book explains, in detail, the process of investigating a ‘haunted house’ and what can be done about it. It explains the dangers involved with the negative occult and how dabbling in it can summon darkness and ruin into our lives.
Dark Siege is a 467 page recreation of the most terrifying case McLeod has ever investigated. But what makes Dark Siege unique is that it contains an addendum with chapter-by-chapter analysis where McLeod explains the science and spirituality behind the paranormal through Quantum Physics, the Universal Laws of Attraction, Intention and Conscious Manifestation.
Both books in the Dark Siege Series are required reading for Bishop James Long's Demonology Course.
Jason McLeod is a paranormal investigator, spiritualist and empath who has spent the last 28 years helping individuals and families deal with both the human spirits who linger in their lives, and the inhuman spirits who seek to ruin them. His training and experience began by following in the footsteps of his friends and mentors – the late Ed Warren and his wife Lorraine, bestselling authors, movie consultants, and the original ghost busters who started the modern ghost hunting craze that thrives today. McLeod conducts engaging presentations on the subjects of Spirituality, Consciousness, Quantum Physics, Meditation, Metaphysics, Paranormal Investigation and Demonology on Radio Broadcasts, and at Paranormal Conventions, Spirituality Expositions, in Churches and at New Age Events throughout the world.

Review
"This is one suspenseful read that could be classified as a "horror genre" book and would be a best-seller as such but, this is based on a true story. The style in which this is written lends itself for an enthralling and captivating read. Making it more frightening is knowing that somewhere out there are real people who are scarred for life having lived through this. The story starts out with your typical family living the normal life until a fateful day when the mother and young daughter drive pass a cemetery and unknowingly picks up a most unwelcome guest. Somehow, this dastardly evil spirit finds its way in the lives of the McLaughlin family, causing havoc never experienced before with a level of terror that would have Clive Barker running for cover. This is one book that will indeed have you sitting on the edge of your seat, in fearful contemplation of what fate waits for these poor souls. One of my favorite chapters is chapter eleven where the author gives some insight into the phenomena of the Succubus and the Incubus. Not being completely familiar with the terms, I appreciated the in-depth explanation about these spirits. Even more remarkable is the notation that there have been reports of impregnation by the Incubus. Sounds something right out of "Rosemary's Baby." It will for sure leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about the subject as there seems to be a very line between reality and fiction. All in all, this book is well done, the narrative is first class, the depth of the story is incredible, the manner in which it is laid out is excellent. This is a book that will appeal to several people, for those in paranormal research, for fans of horror and for those seeking validation to reassure them that they are not alone. No matter what your opinion of this phenomena is, this is one great read." Dennis Waller Top 500 Amazon Reviewer

Beyond Amazing!
By james long
I am Clergy and I deal with activity that is very much involved in this book. Jason has the ability to easily bring the reader into the scene and it becomes real. Jason's writing ability is magnificent and the writing easily places the reader in the scene to where it becomes easy for the reader to engulf themselves in the story. That takes talent!
Simply put, I did not want to put the book down! I just did not want to stop reading and that is a true testament of his writing ability.
Excellent story, Excellent author!

Three stars is being generous.
By cindy
Let me start my review on a positive note. I liked the plot of this book, and the author did a really good job at telling the story. And the book as a whole was entertaining. It is only for these reasons you got 3 stars. I was originally leaning more towards 2.
Now for what I didn't like. Let me start with the characters...I hated them. All of them. They were the most unlikable bunch you could ever come across. Furthermore, I just couldn't "get" the son and his friends. One minute they are horsing around like 12 year old's, and the next minute they're driving around town picking on old people (still acting like a 12 year old, but driving a car). I found them very immature and their never ending banter was grossly annoying. Both sisters were useless characters. So much more, could have been done with the younger one, but the author, for some reason chose to go another route. For future reference, like clowns, children are creepy when it comes to the horror genre. The mother was weak and mindless. What mother repeatedly puts their children in danger the way this woman did through out the whole book. As for the father, I don't even want to think about his idiotic choices. Fella, your house is haunted and your family is in danger! Do you really need to go to work? Now, as for the fright factor...it's laughable. I literally found myself laughing out loud, at what I could only guess were supposed to be scary moments in the book. If I remember correctly, they said that this was based on a true story? How about using the term loosely based. Very, very loosely based. This was possibly the most far fetched haunted house story I have ever read or even heard of. Some of the incidents were so unbelievable, that it didn't even make sense and it just left me shaking my head. As for the writing itself? It was about 5th grade level with way too much rambling. I've heard of using filler words, but this book is just chock full of filler paragraphs. I found myself skimming over pages that were filled with useless babbling and banter. I do have one final note to the author, Dude get a Thesaurus! I can't tell you how bad I wanted to fling my kindle out the window! How many times can you possibly use the word ROARING? I mean guy, you beat the word to death! I wanted to scream, yell, shout, bellow and holler every time I saw that word in your book! As for this review, this is my opinion. Something that Amazon has given us the ability to express on the products they sell. I have noticed on other negative reviews, the author has rebuked peoples posts, which is a practice I don't agree with. My advice to the author is...If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Fabulous Book
By Sunshine Alexander
I truly enjoyed this book, it was written very well and kept me wanting to know more. I cannot wait for more books of Jason's to come out. I met Jason at Phantom Fest in San Antonio and had the pleasure of sitting in on one of his lectures. He was also kind enough to be a guest on the paranormal radio show that I co host weekly.
