TRULY A CLASSIC SERIES!

The five KIT SHANNON books in this extraordinarily fine series are, indeed, true classics... classics in the spirit of Mr. Charles Dickens himself! The stories, set in the early years of the 20th century, were written by James Scott Bell, with the assistance of another excellent author, Tracie Peterson. Wrapped around a number of historical figures, these works of fiction come alive in a manner not often experienced--certainly not in today's world. The five books are educational, suspenseful, emotional (among other attributes); and, not least of all, they bring the Christian faith of the characters to the surface in a strong, convincing, and unapologetic manner. A Higher Justice

Bell has the ability to transport one to the time in history of his story. Because of his ability to interweave real people of the era into his story, the reader begins to "live" in those times. One can learn many interesting and amusing things about famous people of the time. His interchange between those people, the characters in the story and his heroine, Kit Shannon, is delightful. Good reading. Fun and keeps one's interest.
